A buddy of mine came to me recently with a project. He has his Part 107 license and a DJI Mavic that he uses for commercial purposes. He wanted me to create mount that would attach to the built in holes on the Tripltek 8 Pro and attach onto the teeth on the DJI controller phone holder. There are a few of these on the market already, but he wanted to see what I could do with it. Prototype 1 is printing now.

Prototype 1 didn't quite fit. The hole spacing was just a hair off. So, for prototype 2 I used my calipers to get super specific measurements on the hole spacing. I made the quick adjustments to the model in Onshape and the second prototype was printed out 2 hours later.

And it fits! This turned out so nice! The hole spacing is spot on and the lip on the back side is perfect to grab onto the "teeth" on the controller. My friend is very excited to take it out and put it to good use.
