About Me:
Hi, my name is Derek Goates. I am a Design Engineer in the Salt Lake Valley of Utah. I love taking a raw concept through the process of Imagine - Design - Produce. Having a knowledge and access to CAD software and a 3D Printer have augmented this process more than I could have ever imagined as a kid with my Legos and Erector sets.
I am a husband and father of 3. When I'm not working at my day job, or on products for Mountain Goat Design, I love spending time with my family and building/flying my RC airplanes.

A very popular and powerful tool for any 3D CAD model. Output directly to a 3D printer or CNC machine.
Cura Slicer
Popular, powerful, simple. This slicer software helps me create the best print I can.

Ender 3 V2
I run the Ender 3 v2 with upgraded all metal extruder, flexible PEI bed, and yellow springs for longer lasting level bed.
Large Format Printing
I've recently added a Large Format Printer (Plotter) to my office. I am now able to offer printing services for all your black and white printing needs.
